Keepsafe mobile VPN app
I designed the Keepsafe Mobile VPN app, collaborating with the Creative Director, a product manager, and a team of engineers in Berlin. Targeted at Keepsafe Photovault users, the app aimed to extend Keepsafe’s privacy offerings with a seamless and user-friendly VPN experience.
I designed a highly functional onboarding sequence for Keepsafe VPN, prioritizing simplicity and ease of use to cater to a broad audience of privacy-conscious users, many of whom were not highly tech-savvy. This approach was later praised in a review, stating, 'the ease-of-use factor is perhaps the biggest thing Keepsafe VPN has going for it.'
Auto-connect
I designed in-app tutorials and messaging for the Auto-Connect feature, which automatically activates VPN protection for users. This feature adds value by keeping users secure without requiring app engagement, and my work focused on clearly explaining its benefits and encouraging activation.
Material Design
I leveraged Material Design as the underlying design system to ensure consistency and ease of use across Keepsafe VPN. This approach streamlined communication with overseas developers, enabling efficient collaboration and maintaining a cohesive user experience.
